Yoru-san no Itoshi no Bansan is a quick, light and easy story to read, without much drama and simple characters - nothing too extraordinary, but still very enjoyable. Since it's such a short manga, it doesn't dive too deep into each one of the characters nor builds a super complex universe. This could be seen as a problem for some, but the author was able to overcome it and give the story a proper beginning, an okayish development and a decent ending without rushing it nor leaving any of the characters aside. This said, I still believe it could've been a little longer and Iwouldn't complain if the author decided to write and draw more about this. It surely leaves a "wanting more" taste by the end of it.

The art style is quite beautiful, especially when it comes to the food - where the author did an amazing job. The plot isn't complicated to understand, and can be quite funny sometimes, balancing the more serious matters to the comedy in a really good way. It's not too heavy but also not too comedic.

Overwall, the story is just like a nice and hot meat bun. It's not enough for a meal and it's not the most astonishing thing ever, but it's still very tasty and it's perfect for when you feel peckish.
