One Husband Is Enough · review
Romance is NOT the main genre here. The story’s real hook is how it keeps you emotionally invested in the female lead, to the point where all you want—desperately—is to see her smile for once. Her constant suffering is a central element of the narrative, and chapter after chapter you’ll find yourself hoping, almost bargaining, for just one moment of genuine happiness for her. That said, the story is incredibly unique and unpredictable. It refuses to follow safe or obvious paths, and every new chapter had me biting my nails, fully aware that things could go terribly wrong at any second. The art complements the tone perfectly—expressive, atmospheric, and fitting for the emotional weight of the story.
