Spoiler warning
This review may discuss plot details.
The manga is about a sports teacher that is now our male protagonist's step sister. At school mean teacher mode, at home happy big sister mode. While a typical premise it has more to it than that. The art is alright. I don't have anything to say about it. The enjoyment, characters and story will depend though on if you can tolerate the contents though. I was intrigued to see what direction they would take this as while the description for the manga (besides none on MAL) seemed typical of a step family situation it does make the relationship between the characters more interesting how far they actuallytake each scene and the sense of normal and if ecchi moments not the typical but them getting used to being siblings and if walking into the bathroom (or respecting privacy) and not freaking out but just getting used to the new family situation or the opposite gender or just because they see them as their sports teacher now as their step sister.
Spoilers/scenes to give an idea of how they handle it:
A focus on a step sister and student age boy getting used to their living situation/bonding at home or when going places is the core of different scenes throughout but you have scenes like as a brief summary of a few chapters to showcase what direction they go of just everyday things or embarassment:
-asking questions about each other (as sensible and silly as you would expect),
-the home happy big sister/demonic sports teacher mode dynamic (mostly at home stuff though or if at school sometimes if preparing for a lesson being the sister),
-going to the shops as siblings/kind of a date sort of thing,
-chilling out gaming at home,
-getting used to them sleeping/doing their laundry,
-cooking and who is bad at it,
-riding on a bike,
-seeing each other in the bathroom/bathing together
-or seeing a character that exercises and not freaking out when they say you can look/touch their body to see their efforts.
Currently up to a camping chapter. So you can tell it has moments of bonding in a few scenes especially this one.
Among other things. I see it as just a getting used to their living situation and even if ecchi not making it the typical but just working it out. While it is the case of step family situations then a couple it is still interesting how they handled it I think. Which I found to be a good way to handle it than ecchi situations just being the usual you can easily remember and it being rather repetitive I found this manga surprising and something enjoyable to read just to see what happens out of curiosity.
It gives me similar vibes to a succubus manga I read not too long ago where it makes it wholesome rather than the 'every time you hear "succubus" you think ecchi right'. What I mean by this is in the succubus one it was that the character was doing their job and showing off their dreams no ecchi at all in it.
