So funny, great parody, especially the Mary Sue heroine character, who everyone, including the protagonist, loves. Perhaps because I'm a fanfic veteran, every story beat to me feels like a loving ribbing of tropes in fanfic or fantasy romance made for young women, which, if you're afab, you've likely come across at least once. The yandere love interest is also amusing and honestly kinda cute. The protagonist is relatable to anyone who has written a self-indulgent fantasy, wanting every character, even the villains, to be safe from danger. Now that she is in her novel, she doesn't want bad things to happen to her belovedMary Sue heroine or her yandere villain. Also, the art is beautiful and is used wonderfully for storytelling and comedy. The Mary Sue heroine character is sexualized, hilariously. Because, as anyone who was on Wattpad as a middle schooler knows, the MC must be so hot that no one can resist, but she is so humble that she is unaware of this fact or notices when people admire her looks.
