Review of Black Butler: Book of Circus

If only MAL allowed us to do decimals in our ratings, for me Book of Circus would get a 8.5. For the Story I gave it a 7 mainly because the first few episodes seem to lack direction and to me are rather boring. And because of that I actually dropped this anime once, hence why it gets a 7 for Story. For Art I also gave it a 7, the art style throughout Kuoshitsuji is great, and there is nothing different in the style here. For Sound I gave it an 8, this is due to the sound really brining forward the key moments of theplot, and helping us feel a mix of emotions about all the characters. This is most prominet in the last OST track you here in the show, it is called With the Wind and its melody connects you with the characters, and for me got me to cry.

For Character I gave it an 8 because all the characters were very well developed and did not feel like some where just there as filler characters.

Finally for Enjoyment I gave it an 8, I would have given it a 9 if this anime didn't take me to tries to finish.

Overall it gets a 8 from me, mainly because of how the sound and characters develop in the later episodes.
