Review of My First Girlfriend is a Gal

Story: 3 Very mediocre at best, some parts are so cliche you can actually just skip it. I don't entirely hate the overall story but there are many anime that already done this type, harem/slice of life, that offers a lot more in story, art and enjoyment. It just really feels like it didn't do something new to the mix, the "Gal" part of Yame and the ordeal of being a boyfriend of such was only touched only on the first and last episodes. Art: 3 Oh boy, Animation is so bad that some parts of the keyframes are so deformed I can't forget it. Only one commendationis the colors of objects but that's it. I think they just ran out of people during animation since some scene are actually decent to very good looking. I don't like that the supporting roles design, I'm talking about the boy characters, is more developed than the leading role, he looks undercooked.

Opening and ending theme song is kinda 'meh'. The voice acting another thing tho, I really liked the voice acting it sounds cute.

What's up with Keigo tho? The character could be remove from the anime entirely and it still stands. All characters except for Keigo has established familiarity to me. I can also see that it tries to lure audiences of wanting more of Yame by immediately cutting off scenes on any possible character development. It just make me think that maybe Yame is actually pretty 'easy'.

There are some good jokes and gags, since some of it never gets old for me. First five episodes are very enjoyable to watch and it goes down from there. I also just don't like Minoru guy, although he's pretty funny at the end but very creepy tho. I nearly dropped it at episode 8 since but showed a little more faith, but was disappointed.

A very bland half baked anime that can leave a good or bad taste depending on what you are looking for. If you are decent and value your time, I'm gonna suggest that you should pass this anime, BUT if you are looking for an ecchi/harem and just looking to past the time by staring on some big boob girls, HEY this one is for you.
