This story is a animated version of the Web book (which is huge by the way) and was by far a huge pleasant surprise. The characterisation is brilliant, our hero is a deadpan badass, his boss is a loud, blunt and honest person who always makes us laugh, he find disciples ... cough i mean protegees and still has the respect of the community he is a part off. The story is refreshingly simple while inspiring, the hero has been betrayed and by chance gets to regain his place all while the backstabbers have to watch as their scape goat starts getting ready to charge while theysit frustratingly helpless.

We love us a underdog whos a champ...

The graphics are brilliant, a subtle and beautiful art work that gives mood to every scene with individual looking characters that have lots of personality showing through. Subtle facial expressions and tastefully used CGI. I particularly liked how they used the contrast and colour tone to set the emotion for certain scenarios.

In final: A thorough enjoyable season that captures and keeps us entertained while still having that certain something that makes us feel alive after watching. Its a tribute to the Web book and very well done.
