Review of Kamigami no Asobi

So before I get into writing this, I did read the manga beforehand. The anime and manga are totally different. I enjoyed this much more than the manga! So now Story: 9 It wasn't a 10 only because I felt like there could have been more expansion on different stories of the characters. However, unlike the manga, the sword the Yui had was actually essential in this plot. I enjoyed that it was included and I enjoyed that there was a real purpose in the end. I felt that if this was a longer series, then the story would have definitely met a 10! I loved how itstarted and I loved how it ended. I loved how Yui was so essential in everyone's life and to moving the story along to the main part.

Art & Sound: 10
Nothing I can say besides the art was just great. Even the music that was played for different scenes were fantastic.

Characters: 9
I loved all the characters. Again, I just felt like it should have been longer truly grasp the different character stories. They didn't really have a story for Anubis (?), but that was like in the manga too. However, all the characters have their own little quirks and it was enjoyable to watch them progress through. Especially Balder, Loki, and Thor.

Enjoyment & Overall: 10!
This was so much better than the manga. I wanted to keep watching the series, but alas homework got in the way. However, it was funny and intense and overall it was just a fantastic anime. I loved the ending so much, I was crying!!

I'm hoping that there would be a second season. But I doubt it haha. It was really great, and I loved it so much.
