Review of ReLIFE

ReLIFE "Man failing in life signs up for lab experiment that make him a 17 year old school student again" the premise of the show was enough to tell me this was going to be an interesting anime. For those of you that are still confused this show is NOT a time travel anime. Everything happens in real time. The protagonist eats a pill instead of using a machine. I honestly didn't know what to expect from this anime as this "becoming a kid" stuff has never been tackled before. I was half expecting some dark seinan shit to go down but it turned out to bea slice of life rom-com instead.(Not that I'm complaining) One of the characters is a bit cringing BUT that doesn't stop the show from having one of the most unique love confessions of all time! All I can say is I did not see it coming at all.

The anime does a good job of portraying a grown up in a classroom and how outdated he feels by the current generation and the differences between a school life and working life. All in all, I really enjoyed this anime and really hope a 2nd season is on the way
