Review of My Love Story!!

Do you want absurd comedy? Check! Do you want heartwarming romance? Check? Do you want each episode to make you feel wholesome? Check! Even though this was a shoujo manga adaptation, I thoroughly enjoyed Ore Monogatari, all 24 episodes. My favorite anime are the kind that show multiple characters' perspectives rather than just the main character. But man, is this main character good! Takeo and his entire family seem to represent the epitome of the Japanese ideal of "Wa", or "harmony" with oneself, one's neighbors, and with nature. Takeo strives to be selfless in every way, is a peak athlete, and never hesitates to tellpeople how he feels or the help out others.

Along for the ride are his best friend Sunakawa who is always there for him with unconditional support, the girl he likes who enjoys making cakes and enjoying life, and the motley crew of classmates, both male and female, who support these main characters. Character and enjoyment are 10/10 for me.
