Review of Trigun
Trigun is a very good western-themed shonen about charming master gunslinger Vash the Stampede, an outlaw who will not kill. Over the course of 26 mostly self-contained episodes, it becomes hard not to like Vash and his supporting cast as the wander from town to town, sometimes causing/sometimes solving problems. The music in the show is very psychedelic, with a strong 70's rock feel, and with love and peace being big themes present in the show I think it fits rather well. The art truthfully hasn't aged well, but it's definitely serviceable and charming to those that enjoy the vintage feel of 90's anime, andthe voice acting in the dub is ~fine~. The ending is good, although I found the plotline they went with to wrap it all up threw me off a bit. I would recommend Trigun to any fans of shonen, or any fans of westerns. People make a lot of comparisons to Bebop, and while Trigun certainly isn't on the same level, I will agree that if you like one there's a good chance you will like the other.
