This is a 50 minute film where the main cast of Digimon Tamers go on vacation and get caught up in another Digimon battle with evil Digimon. It's nothing incredible, but it was enjoyable and a welcome addition to the Digimon Tamers series, in my opinion. Many of the technical aspects that I praised in the main series are still good here. The animation is great for the genre, demographic, and the time period it came out in, the returning characters are exactly the same as they were in the main series personality wise, (my favorite's still Ruki, but my only major criticism is thatshe doesn't show up nearly enough, maybe 5-10 minutes in total, same goes for her Digimon, Renamon, too). The plot itself was kind of forced and not well explained. Makes it seem like this was meant to be a much longer feature, like maybe an hour and a half or 2 hours, that was condensed down into just 50 minutes for some reason. But for what it is I enjoyed it. Sadly there's only one more installment in Digimon Tamers after this, Tamers never got the Digimon Adventure treatment with how many installments it received even though it absolutely deserved it.
