Gou-Dere Sora Nagihara · review
This manga was hilarious. There were some attempts at giving it a plot and character development, but these all pretty much failed. There were some good scenes that felt like they had impact, but there really wasn't anything overarching at all. That's fine though because as stated the manga is hilarious, incredibly hilarious. There's an interesting combination of characters where some of them seem to have common sense, while others are completely crazy in unique ways, that leads to all sorts of amusing mayhem. There's some punchlines that occur again and again, but everything surrounding them is varied enough that it doesn't feel repetitive, rather Ithink it may actually make it funnier. A lot of the humor is centered around tropes commonly found in anime, manga, games, etc. but while it certainly does acknowledge it and even make fun of it, it doesn't actually make them seem like a bad thing, which I felt was interesting and worked really well. The art was also incredibly good.
tl;dr: A manga that does a good job of trading plot and characters for absurdity and humor.
