Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

I think reasons why Frieren is so popular, like attack on titan, jujutsu kaisen, and others, is that it transcends the screen: it says something more than the dialogue. Originally i had written off the show as another classic fantasy rpg type of show, but I was very much pleasantly surprised while watching, as the show presents a multifaceted and genre-spanning story which provokes deeper meaning. Personally, I loved the blend of fantasy, philosophy, being coloured with moments of comedy and romance, yet still in a way which registers as wholesome and avoids being overly kitsch. Overall, Frieren is a very pleasing show that is verywell written and deeply enjoyable for the watcher.
