Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Good, but definitely not a masterpiece. Tbh, I don't feel any special about this series, besides the animation and production values. The characterization are meh (most the characters are bland, except Sein and Denken). The main plot is plain and barebone. The world building are so random (the magic system is so lazy and not well-written). How ironic to see the shounen fans bashed this series for being boring, and the Frieren's fans replied them with "go back to your action shounen slop", meanwhile I saw Frieren's great aspects are mostly the action and animation lmao. Still recommend it for wide demography, but definitely overrated andoverhyped series. Doesn't deserve the 1st spot tbh.
