Review of Sing a Bit of Harmony

Ai no Utagoe wo Kikasete is a nice movie but in my opinion it fails in some aspects. I'll tell you right away that it's worth to watch, since it's kinda enjoyable, but if you want to know pros and cons just keep reading my review. STORY: 7 The story is set in a world where AIs are used everywhere (literally). Here, we get to know the main cast, made of 5 friends and an experiment, a "human AI" that had to "mimetize" between people. But there's one problem, she is obsessed with the main girl and wants to make her happy. At first this doesn't make any sense, mainly becauseit was created to fit into the society, but she starts singing and making other dumb things.
I won't spoil anything, but in the end, it'll all make sense, so don't worry about that.
After that, the story keeps going and it's actually nice, not the best but it's enjoyable.

ART: 8
Usually the art in movies is really good, and yes, it was good in this movie too.
Both animations and effects looked really nice.

SOUND: 7
Alright, now let's talk about the sound...
If you read the tags you can see that this movie is about music.
Even if you read the title you can understand it.
The thing is... there's music but it's not that good.
We hear the same nice song many times, but that's it, besides one other song (the one with Thunder), the others are kinda forgettable, and since this should be a sort of "musical", I expected something more.
I don't think that the story shouldn't have been revolved around music and you'll understand why near the end, but sometimes the songs seemed so random.

CHARACTER: 7
Even if there's not a romance tag, I can tell you that there's a nice amount of it.
The characters, besides Touma and Satomi are nothing special, they're just supporting friends.
Touma was a really good character and we get to know more about him as the movie progresses.
Shion, the AI, was ok, she got interesting near the end.

ENJOYMENT: 8
Even if there are some things I didn't like, for example (SPOILER) when Shion gets caught and everyone is literally depressed even if they knew her for 3 days.
I mean, yeah, they got to know her in that period but I don't think that's enough to be sad.
Near the end (SPOILER) we discover that she actually looked after Satomi for almost her entire life but she didn't knew that.

So... yeah, in the end I enjoyed it and I didn't really care about the plot holes or other problems, because it was nice.
Like I said at the beginning, if you have time, you should check it out.
