Redo of Healer is overhyped, well, for the adult content side, it definitely could have been a lot more Seinen, it was not what I expected and I am glad, because, I'm going to say it, Redo of Healer is actually good. While hidden under the R18 or Ecchi genre of anime, Redo of Healer has one of the most satisfying revenge plots in japanese cinematics with SOME brutality mixed in there, those claiming Redo of Healer to be the most messed up anime, or to be really bad are over exaggerating and need to get their game into shit like Ousama Game or gore pornographics, and even so, what about it? Like why should Redo really have to be that bad? Being bad never meant being good, Redo of Healer is it's own bad, a balance of bad so well it's good. Redo of Healer takes the messed up and balances it out with the rest of the plot so that everything "messed up" works with the plot in a way that makes the plot feel like it's actually going to a conclusion. While some were excessive, like the amount of sex being quite dragged out and overused in later episodes after the 4th episode, episodes like 9 and 2 were REALLY good watches, the acts of revenge being so satisfying and brutal you kind of don't want to watch it but you just have to see what happens and to see what coming to these heinous villains.

Redo of Healer does what other animes fail to do, and that is to make a realistic revenge plot, in most animes you'd watch the main character keeps a level head after suffering the worst, and manages to goodie-two-shoes their way to victory, or by doing the right things morally, but the main character in Redo is basically the anti-Hero, his revenge is so brutal it just barely makes the line of being revenge, over being just straight unjustified torture, but just so damn satisfying, half the time I felt it hard to keep on the main characters side due to the intensity of half of the scenes and pain he inflicts, even seeming irrational and over-the-top, but even after all he does, half of you also just loves his revenge and longs for more of it, and that conflicting feeling you get when watching Redo of Healer, is what makes this show underrated.
