Review of Dan Da Dan

Fun, fun, fun! Aside from the odd romance-shenanigans that I'm absolutely not a fan of (seriously, it drags down a couple of episodes HARD for me), Dan Da Dan is just a fun watch. Characters with complex but readable personalities, a charming supporting cast and going hard on the animation style (a ScienceSARU staple), the only thing that I dislike is how incomplete and abrupt this first season feels. It's like the start of a new arc just happened, but then the 12 episode limit was hit, so... tough luck, see you around in a couple of months. My tendency to view (and review) media as awhole just get's challenged by that, and I don't think I can fault Dan Da Dan exclusively for that. Still, worthwile watch, if not for the fun main cast.
