Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

I really like that this anime is super casual but also on the serious side, and I think more shows should be like that. But a lot of the humor is either not great or awkward in return. Also, I think it contributed to a lot of the show feeling really underwhelming. Definitely many filler episodes for one. And things only started to get more interesting near the end where there are some more character interactions. But then I didn't really think the show should've turned out like that, either; in the first episode I was excited because I thought it would be some explorationinto how Frieren has to say bye to everyone who dies before her. But they didn't really build on that idea very much. Another thing about Frieren is I can't say I really care or appreciate her character that much, either, there are definitely side characters who have more of a personality. Overall I didn't rate this lower because it's definitely more up my alley than most of the recent shows I've seen.
