Review of Horimiya

UGH i am so gutted. the first 7 eps of this anime were a solid 10/10 for me. MC i adored from the start, they were so cute and the romance was so tender and natural and really really refreshing to not have all the drama, just boy and girl figuring out they like eachother and getting to know eachother. good comedy, sweet art style. and then....they are together, and the show just takes a nose dive. its like they had no idea how to express the intimacy the MCs had. i honestly have no clue how they could get the small intimacies, the tendermoments and the sweetness in the first half and then when the couple actually become intimate just loose all of that. not to mention Miyamura (main male) character went from super interesting to just meh.

the entire 2nd half was just MEH it was like a different anime. im gutted. i cant give it any higher than 6 based on the fact the last episodes were so boring. the pacing was atrocious and they just ignored major parts of the MCs relationship growth to focus on random side stories. it is just so weird to me how this went from so good to so bad.
