Review of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2
Whats the point of having some of the best sakuga ever if you're not going to back it up with any emotion whatsoever. The best way I can put it, imagine if AOT went straight to Season 3 Part 2 after Season 1. There is such a weird gap in world building and development that the show desperately covers up with fight after fight. It implies a significant level of depth, but when youre watching the 10th fight in the span of 7 episodes as some no name side character gets offed, you begin to ask yourself, whats the point. I just met thesecharacters one season ago, why does it feel like the show wants to get to its end point.
I wish there was more stuff like the hidden inventory arc, I love that giddy feeling shonens give you as you meet such a fun and interesting cast, you watch them develop and interact with each other. Shibuya doesnt have that, just tiktok edit material.
I worry for the next season, JJK had crazy potential to me, it needs to slow down with more interesting stories to tell, because this series still has so much potential.
