This is one of the shows I definitely slept on until last year. I went into it blind, not knowing a thing about the series, besides "girls with swords", but it was for the best. This was an amazing ride from start to finish, the characters were excellent and the music was just as great. The action was well paced and did not feel out of place, which for a series like this is a welcome sight. Overall it's basically lesbians with swords on stage, with a weird giant giraffe. Is he ever explained? No. But that's the beauty of Starlight. They don't need toexplain shit and you just roll with it, because you're too busy watching the drama unfold.
