Review of Amnesia

So this is my first review, I am terribly sorry if I make any mistakes. I have always been a big fan of otome games and therefore of otome game anime. So I have watched this anime in May last year and at first I was very confused by what was going on. Nobody really explains what is going on in the beginning, you just jump right in. Although Orion, the Heroine's little helper does explain some things. Already at the end of episode 1 I started to enjoy myself a lot. The art is beautiful and the music just stunning. It really emphasizes themood of everything. The Heroine is, like most Otome Game/Anime characters a little quiet and doesn't really have a strong personality, although that might be understandable due to her memory loss. In my opinion this is alright because in the first place an otome anime would be to find yourself in the Heroine's place and if she had a certain personality that wouldn't be possible for everyone, also it is described that she has a different personality in every world. In December, when I was already long done watching the anime I played the game and after I was done with it I watched the anime once more. Everything just made more sense and I got answers to questions the anime didn't provide.

My conclusion would be, that the anime is very enjoyable if you like otome and can deal with weak female characters or not knowing what is going on at first. For me the anime makes more sense as an addition for the fans of the game but it is enjoyable even if you didn't play it.
