Review of Dororo

Dororo has been a pleasantly surprising experience for me. The story is something that I'll probably be thinking back on years from now. The premise is something truly unique and ends up exploring a lot of themes of morality and spirituality. The art is sleek and beautiful, while also conveying the dark and gritty nature of the setting. The characters are definitely the thing that kept me coming back. Hyakikmaru brings such a different perspective from a lead character and his relationship with Dororo quickly becomes something genuine that you wanna root for them succeeding in their journey all the way through.
