Review of A Place Further Than The Universe
A very cute anime with a lead that reminds me of Mako from Kill La Kill just a very toned down version. A tale of four strangers who become the best of friends while escaping their normal lives to go on an adventure of a lifetime. It's a simple anime that gives you really cute scenes but also hits you with a bunch of bricks called real life. The girls are highly relatable even to an American man many years out of high school. They are dreamers but also doers who realize that they must live in the now and do what they want. Iwish the show was longer as a viewer but as a critic the 13 episodes were well paced to me and didn't need to show us everything for us to bond with these girls and the other characters. Maybe it's my age but I do relate to Mari the most as I wish to make use of my youth before its too late. This anime truly inspired me to live on and go on my own journey no matter what I have to do to get there. I just got to keep moving until I see something new and shout to the world "In Your Face".
