The Monster Musume Web Shorts are, well, shorts that take place during the TV series. They offer a (very!) brief look into the girls' daily lives. The episodes themselves are hit and miss; some of them are funny, or at least interesting, while others feel pointless. Everything looks and sounds consistent with the show, but the animation is limited a lot of the time, and some episodes don't even bother to show anyone. One positive is that we get to see more of a character who's introduced very late in the series, but unfortunately we still don't get to see much of her here. Watching all ofthe shorts only takes about 30 minutes, so if you loved the show you might as well check them out. However, casual fans wouldn't miss much by skipping them. Crunchyroll didn't bother picking this up for some reason, so you'll have to find a fansub.
