Review of KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!

Surprisingly, this spin-off is my favorite of the Konosuba series. I suspect this is because of the absence of our regular MC. There's a good deal less pervy jokes, but whether this is a letdown or not depends on the person. This spin-off is all about Megumin, our Crimson Demon explosion magic expert. I love Yunyun and Megumin's banter and relationship in this. I would even say the romantic tension between them is more than any other characters. (Kidding!) Some say that this is a watered down version of Konosuba, which is true because the main party isn't there, and the only ones important in the castis just Megumin and Yunyun. (And Chomosuke!) But I don't think it really takes away from at all.

Megumin grows a considerable bit in the anime, and her changes from the beginning and end are pretty noticable.

I think I have some newfound respect for Konosuba after finding out that there are boring-er stuff out there. It has a way of keeping you more or less entertained for a good while.
