Don't be fooled by the title, Risouteki Boyfriend (理想的ボーイフレンド lit. "Ideal Boyfriend") or the English name: The World Best Boyfriend, it doesn't give you a miracle-like shoujo story of a girl meets OMG I'M SO DEAD awesomely HANDSOME, and COOL, and POPULAR, and MANLY, and GENIUS, and GOOD AT SPORTS, and other YADA-YADA ikemen that descended from heaven. It's the story of Yusa, who has her ideal boyfriend type is like the above, and Haruta-kun, a poker face classmate and almost has no presence at all in the class, who is not Yusa's type at all. And again, it's not a story of a normal boychange into girls' ideal boyfriend, it's the story of that sometimes, what actually you need, what actually can make you happy for the most, what is the best for you, is not what you have imagined and hoped before.
