This is one of the earliest beastkin BLs ever, and as much as some of the elements feel a bit outdated, the core is solid. There is essentially furry x human sex too, so be careful. The main couple is mostly adorable. The seme caaaan lean a bit problematic at times, but for the most part he's devoted and adoring. Meanwhile the uke is an adorable boyfailure, earnest and sincere, and I do enjoy their dynamics when things don't end up a touch too bullying. The narrative is a simple slice of life, with a bit of flashbacks and reflection from the seme's side. They mostly work, albeitI'd appreciate a bit more nuance and complexity there. As it is the only one being fleshed out is the seme and the narrative gets a bit imbalanced.
But truly, as a cute fluffy read, this is good.
