The Demon Hunter 2 · review
So I came into this fairly late, but here’s the deal: it’s about a powerful swordsman with a paintbrush, a demon invasion that doesn’t know when to quit, slickest, most satisfying fight scenes in donghua right now. No time is wasted on filler. The pacing is tight, the visuals are polished, and every moment feels like it matters. The world-building is big but never overwhelming. Cultivation systems, spirit beasts, portals are introduced clearly and quickly, just enough to stay exciting without slowing things down. Meng Chuan isn’t just another revenge-powered main guy. He’s sharp, thoughtful, a little broody, and has a surprising artistic streak. And while the story follows him, the side characters get just enough depth to keep things interesting. They’re not background noise, they matter. For viewers craving tight storytelling and top-tier animation, this one’s hard to skip.
