In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki · review
If you're looking for something elaborate, deep, and extensive, you've came to the wrong place, but that's not a bad thing. Though the character designs may raise an eyebrow or two, the anime doesn't draw attention to anything suggestive, but rather focuses on the slice-of-life and CGDCT aspects of storytelling, which is definitely Kunoichi Tsubaki's strong point. Nothing extraordinary, just kids acting like kids. Additionally, despite the pretty large cast, everyone is given a chance in the spotlight, with decent characterization to boot. The art is phenomenal, and the action sequences are top-notch, as expected of CloverWorks. If you're a fan of Takagi-san, then you'll probably likeKunoichi Tsubaki, as both are written by the same mangaka.
