So I completed volume 1, and I can say that it was a really nice novel thus far. At times for the protagonist there were moments of awkwardness from seeing how his otaku mind works... but after completing the novel, I barely remember what exactly made me feel from seeing him being awkward. The relationship between the protagonist and the heroine outweighed everything I initially found hard to read through. I did not get used to it, but there are far more goodness I got out of the novel rather than pointing out the bad points and making a big deal out of it. Idid however get used to his paranoia of trusting '3D women', and it was really nice to see his personality slowly breaking out of its shell. Also the heroine is absolutely adorable when trying to give it her best to be the protagonist's ideal girlfriend.
