It's really hard to believe that we're looking at a Japanese comic, and even more so that it was created in the 80s: because of its sense of humor, the liveliness of its characters and how openly it deals with sex scenes, I would have sworn that we were looking at a Western work written less than 10 years ago. This manga is relatively short (20 chapters), but it's more than enough to cover a story that is mainly comedic and somewhat erotic, but also has moments of drama, outrage, love, or cuteness... you really can't ask for much more in a self-contained story like this(and in my opinion, its comedic aspect may resonate with Western readers much better than 90% of all the comedic manga you can find).
Furthermore, although it doesn't have that many characters, most of them are quite charismatic in their own way, and you quickly find yourself wanting to read more about them.
The only drawback would be that the drawing style is quite simple and schematic, although it suits the manga's theme quite well.
