TheTrueShan said it best with their review. The opening was fantastic, but after a certain character becomes involved, the whole story just nosedives What is the nosedive. The nosedive occurs with when the demon of gluttony comes in. I hate that character,there was no reason to put that character as the explaination why mc can do the things he can do. It would have been better if there was no explaination of the mc powers, cause that would have been making more mockery of shounen protagonists with their powers. Currently this manga is feeling more battle shounen than the slice of life romance manga, i reallly really reallylike the slice of life stuff because it was so much funnier than the battle shounen stuff.

Regardless you should still read this manga, its pretty good, only drop it when that major even occurs. And reread it when that major even dissappears
