Armored Trooper VOTOMS, what else can I say that hasn't been said before? Gritty, violent, brutal, and just overall completely fucking badass. The story and characters for one were what kept me engaged in this series from the very first episode right down to the last. Hell, Chirico Cuvie is one badass mofo who would more than easily make John Rambo look like Shinji Ikari by comparison. And the eponymous mecha themselves are not only well crafted and designed, but they very much look like something we could make in our timeline. Overall, Armored Trooper VOTOMS is an underrated classic thatNEEDS more love than what it's already got. While I'm certainly more a Gundam fan than anything (Universal Century master race beyotch), this most certainly one mecha anime no one should ever let pass by, very highly recommended.
