Review of Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom
A great hit-man/psychological anime. What stood out to me about this anime is how much the music and sound affected the entire story to evoke the emotion behind Zwei and Ein, also Reiji and Eren. I still listen to the ost and feel what I felt when watching the episodes for the first time. The accuracy of the sounds goes down to the type of guns they each used. The music also balances the dychotomy of the tension and calmness throughout the entire anime. The characters develop as they mature, although personally I would have preferred to see a little more spark between Reiji andEren. That would've even drawn out the non-killer, human side of them, wanting and needing to get out of what they've been put into. The outcome was still believable, seeing that they're assassins after all, and they needed to detach all emotion in order to succeed.
Contrary to the characters, this is filled with various emotions, that's always followed by an array of questions.
