Review of Black Lagoon

Well, I decided to watch Black Lagoon just because I was hearing a lot for this anime you know "Dark" "Guns" "Action" etc... Well the Concept sounds good but to be honest its disappointing... Well About the Story ,there is no real overall progressive plot just dirty jobs that need to get done.It's more like an episode type anime where each episode has an other story to tell and one more job to be done. The problem is that the main reason Black Lagoon is praised is for the melodramatic, dark type it has but the Truth is that Black Lagoonis highly overrated to both Atmosphere and Action... The character (Revi) just has two guns and just fires to anyone just for the sake of action that's poorly written and with bad choreography as well. Even on a good fight nearly at the end of the season it failed to get the viewer into the fight and just showed couple of explosions from a far...Hell of an Action.
I feel like is a Hellsing Ultimate ripoff with poor (if non existing) story.

As for the characters Black Lagoon has a wide cast but all of them are just criminals or bastards who they act predictable and lose the intrest of the viewer (at least for me). The main character Revi is a loud woman with tragic past who swearing a lot (sometimes for no reason), she is always angry and just points the gun and shout to everyone, killing all the weak enemies but when it come to a real battle is passes out OR Balalaika comes to the scene or should I say to the rescue...
Well if someone tell me that Black Lagoon is a Hellsing parody I can say that I believe it...
Dutch on the other hand is an interesting character but poorly developt, the manga writter or the anime company praised more Mr. Chang and Balalaika than the captain of the Crew whos also the captain of the Protagonist...
Its worth to note at this point that Mr. Chang and Balalaika are the two characters who has the least screen time in the anime...

As for the music and animation Black Lagoon is very good but as for the sounds in the battles or the gun fires the anime disappoints again....

To be honest I didn't enjoy it to much for all the reasons I explained above.
as I said I could believe that this is a Hellsing Parody...
Well if anyone want to check some Dark and more mature Anime series, Berserk, Ergo Proxy, Hellsing/Ultimate are some worthy options and there are also plenty more who's also better that Black Lagoon...
