Imagine a world where bug sprays don't work, so you'd get a tiny palm-sized gun-welding doll to do the job. Well, it's hard to imagine, but someone made manga with that idea, and someone read and thought "hey, let's animate this!" so here we are. It's hard to say anything about story without spoiling it since this OVA is just 11 minutes, proof of concept and proof of art work. Is it fun? Yes. It's funny, old school-ish short with enjoyable character design, good voice acting, deep enough presentation to get a bit invested in the story. Production values were rather high here. Good, fluent animation. Well presentedscale of bug-killing dolls.
Humor was absurd from the get go. Like watching "over produced" Itchy and Scratchy short from the Simpsons, but better (since it's not related to Simpsons).
Would I recommend it?
Not really. It's fun and absurd short, but you need to be fond of figma, dolls or gun mecha to appreciate it imo.
"Robotization" is also kinda eh. Typical voice stylization and speech pattern done too many times. And ending is weird, or maybe copy I've seen just had very rough translation.
Still, nice artifact show from certain era of animation. And again, it's 11 minutes with 2 being end credits iirc, so yeah. If you liked Chobits or any other "robo-girl" themed show like Kei the metal idol, or bobbly and bubbly chara design style from the late 90's early 00's, you'd probably enjoy this. I'm not real fan of those and still had fun ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so take that.
I'd rate it in in between 6-7 keeping in mind good production values and length, but also few tired tropes.
