Review of Akira

I watched this in cinema and it was beautiful, the plot, effort and thought that went into every little part was eye opening. It's raw graphic and slightly old but at the same time all current animes all take inspiration from this. Like the motorbike slide, this was the starting point for that. If you are thinking of an anime film to recommend to a friend Akira is one no one could really dislike, its universally incredible. Its not predicable, the characters are interesting, some a bit smart and some the opposite. The plot also darkens and gets deeper which if your watching for thefirst time you wouldn't have thought so instantly but it draws you in and then puts you at the edge of your seat for the majority of it.
