This is a perfect 10. The story, the atmosphere, the characters and their motivation, the subtlety, the sheer brilliance of narration, and the ending - a brilliant ending honestly - are all matched with a lot of sincerity. On the whole, I think that the tone was the prize winning point of this movie. And for that reason alone, I will definitely recommend this anime.
