Review of The World God Only Knows

I'm surprised how long it took me to actually watch this. I surprisingly didn't end the 1st season utterly hating the MC. I do like him in some ways . Really if i had to make one complaint about the show. It's that i wish we got more of the Demon assistant. I really like her. I was expecting the show to do more comedic routes. Such as having the MC make a Trap fall in love with him or having to make his mother fall in love with him. I feel that they missed some funny chances. The Music is also pretty good tbh. I waskind of surprised by it.

The girls that the MC has to get to fall in love with are pretty interesting. My favorite is the Blonde girl that used to be super rich but is now poor.

I wish they did more with her. Such as at the end of her story arch have her get the goal to actually do well in school so she can take over her fathers former business when she's older. Have her actually try to be a successful person in the future and become wealthy on her own merit. Also i kind of wish she wasn't having to live in a r run down apartment barely making ends meet while her mother is having to work every hour of daylight just to make a living. The blonde hair girl's entire story arch i feel could have been it's own anime.

Also can we get a parody series of this where it's some girl that accidentally signs the contract and has to go around making other girls fall in love with her ? That would be really funny to see. Obviously keep the cute female demon assistant.

Overall a really fun show that i ended up binge watching in one day.
