Ah, Kuroshitsuji, Black Butler. How attractive art thou. This anime gets a 7. A solid 7. This is a charming, rather dark story about a child with lost innocence yet a pure soul. If that makes any sense at all. Anyway, the art style was amazing, and the characters oh so charming. The title theme was catchy and I found myself mumbling it under my breath when I wasn't watching it.There were serious moments, and there were moments when you laughed out loud, and there were moments when you really questioned your decision to watch this show, but at the same time you wereso sucked in that you just didn't care.

Now, some flaws to point out. There were episodes that were incredibly insignificant. Yes, they were funny and enjoyable, and I have no complaints that they were there in the first place. However, in the grand scheme of things, it hindered the storyline quite a bit. Also, there were moments that obviously only catered to the fangirls, but the moments were few and far between, and I didn't notice them until I watched a second time. In other words, you don't notice until you start looking.

Overall, this was a very enjoyable anime. I have trouble finding little jewels like this anime nowadays, with wonderful art style, little to no sexualized characters, lovable and memorable characters... that's a tall order to fulfill. And Kuroshitsuji has all that to offer and more. This anime is definitely worth your time if you're hungry for a supernatural, charming, show.
