Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

While this is still fresh in my mind, very few anime have the ability to break me down and want nothing more than for the characters to find true peace, but Anohana is one of them. From the beginning, we are told that Menma has passed on, and learn how terribly all of her friends are still taking it. In the true resolve of the end, I shed a tear watching all of these character open themselves to the audience and other characters. This is one of the best betrayals of what death is like in anime, it's a true experience that I would recommendto everyone I know.
