Review of Bakemonogatari

Story - 25/30 - Confusing and weird theme... that IS Bakemonogatari. The arcs were original, but many of them were also full of WTF moments (Nadeko's arc for example). And don't expect any fast development, it isn't what you call a 'fast' anime. Characters - 23/30 - I liked the characters. I can't really say much about this. They are all... so strange and cute at the same time... My favorite character would be Ararararararagi... Animation - 10/15 - SHAFT made this Bakemonogatari's own style. No other anime uses it. I am not a big fan of it, but it was good enough for me. Sometimes though they scared mewith their strange shots, weird display of reactions and emotions and the uncensoring of some violent scenes (the broken wrist!)

Music - 9/10 - BGM wasn't memorable, but the OP's and ED surely were.
I still occasionally listen to them on my iPod.

Enjoyment - 17/20 - Though there were long dialogue and boring scenes, overall I started liking it.

Total: 84/100 -> MAL score 9

Therefore I would say:
Watch it, but only if you like slowness, weirdness and uncensored violence in anime.
