Review of High School DxD

High school DXD fails how an ecchi anime should be made. First of all, I've never seen a protagonist this perverted, it would've been reasonable if they added more depth to his character. But staying only as a perverted person. Makes the story feel dull and fails it from having a great protagonist. Because to me, a great character is a complex one that shows many different traits that make you feel an emotional rollercoaster. I can not simply understand why people would like issei as a character, it's okay to be jealous of his harem. But he is not a person that you shouldbe looking up to.

Furthermore, they fail to justify the fanservice in this anime. They put ecchiness over the story. It is certainly unnecessary to show boobies and panty shots almost every single minute. Naughty jokes are okay but The boobie shots should be done at a minimum, instead they fucking show lazer beam boobies. Pew pew pew. I like ecchi anime, but they certainly overdid it to more of a hentai. might as well make a sex scene at that.

Yes, I get it, people watch it for the "plot" in this anime, so did i. But what about the true plot of the story. Well, there's atleast hundreds of anime out there about demons and gods so its not that over revolutionary but its not atleast overly boring.

In my opinion, high school dxd is fanservice done wrong from a failed protagonist to a shitty romance that focuses more on his harem than finding a good reason to love him. But if you're a really horny person that only thinks about sex 24/7 then this is the anime for you, but know that you are a truly down bad to society for liking such a shit protagonist. And This show is just an excuse to watching hentai.
