Review of Natsume's Book of Friends

Very comfy show. Curl up under a blanket and watch some heartwarming episodes of this very down to earth slice of life anime. Friendship, helping, innocence, humor. Story felt nice, kinda episodic in a way. Each episode had its own small story and resolution with small continuation elements keeping the whole show together, episode to episode. It is very easy to watch because of that. In the other hand, if you want more story you need to watch more seasons. Art style is also good and sounds are even better. Characters are very good. Madara was my favorite one, he is very easy to like andhe is funny with serious side. Some characters felt little flat but I understand that this is season one.

Maybe not the most action packed anime but that is also its strength. If you like warm, beautiful feelings, little bit of sadness and funny moments this just might be the show to dedicate your time into to.
