Story There's a lot of action. It's all epic action full of testosterone and bad ass violence. There's a plot too. A dime-a-dozen salary man decides to break bad and join the criminal underworld of south east Asia. It's a simple concept executed very well. He decides to join the thug life but hasn't really fully committed to the lifestyle. Animation Did I mention there was a lot of action? They were also animated very well. The colors and look of it make it a feast for the eyes. Being set in a tropical environment, you'd expect itto be colorful and it meets those expectations. Pretty ironic considering how dark and bleek of an environment they live in.

Characters

Reality check. No matter how you look at it, each an every character is a horrible person. There might be honor among thing but doesn't make them better people. However, they all accept this and just go along with their lives. My problem is with Rock. He's just so condesending and holier-than-though it's annoying. Everyone else is fine but Rock comes across as whiny and chases fairy-tales too much. The other characters already accept that they're bad people. Rock still tries clinging onto his humanity in an environment that has none.

Overall 9

Great anime overall. If you're looking for a great, fast-paced, ball-to-the wall, action anime then here you go.
