The Eleven Cats is a cute movie with lively animation and pretty art direction. The background art has a simple, modernist look reminiscent of Western animation of the era that I find very appealing, and there are lots of great musical sequences, including a foray into outright psychedelia in the middle. It's not particularly deep or anything but I'd recommend it to anybody who can enjoy a simple kids adventure movie; it's just a very pleasant way to spend an little over an hour. I guess could see some viewers looking for lots of action setpieces or a strong narrative current being bored though; thisone's all about the vibes really
