Ghost in the Shell season 2 is a huge improvement over season 1, but here is a warning for anyone watching it. Do yourself a favor and skip episode 17 of the second season. cw // pedophilia The episode offers virtually nothing to the overarching plot, and the little story that is there has nothing to say and is extremely bare bones. I kid you not when I say the entire episode is dedicated to near statutory r*pe. I know culturally we still instill young men to fetishize doing it with an older woman if their underage, but this show contains the most gross and egregious exampleof this I have ever seen. It is just played straight.

Please, do yourself a favor and just skip episode 17.
