Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

This show has completely failed to reach me because of 2 things the convoluted PLOT and characters. You can make a case for either one of these to overpower every little sad piece in this show not like they were any in the first place. All but 2 characters were down to earth and legit Tetsudou and Jinta. Jinta never gave up and even when all of his "friends" were calling him insane and crazy he pushed through to get what she wanted (Menma). Tetsudou never gave up on him either and was supportive all the way through. NOW everyone else was out looking forrevenge like some wild dog. All because of jealousy. Like come on save that shit and go help send the poor girl to heaven after all she was YOUR FRIEND. Next the plot at first it was straight easy to follow until like I mentioned the revenge and stupid side shit shows up. This is 11 episodes there is no time for extra crap that isn't needed. Like the revenge and her mother and father bullshit (Menmas). If it was longer I could see it working but no its 11 eps. So overall this show has failed to strike any warmth or sadness in my heart want to watch something actually sad and has a good plot and characters? Your lie in April. Not this sorry excuses for a coming of age show.
